Diet soda is often a stand-in for water. But water contains essential properties for our body to work properly, and replacing water with diet soda can be very harmful.
Other Health Issues
Many studies show that those who drink diet soda every day may be more likely to be depressed, overweight, and at risk for health problems like osteoporosis, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and heart attack.
